White Water: Am I Completely Missing an Optical Switch?

I checked mine, the game scores 50,000 for an incomplete Disaster Drop shot.

I sent an email to Dan, you probably know him. I know he has a White Water in his shop which hopefully will make it easy for him. Besides the mount, the optos, the wiring etc I think I might just pay him to do it. The good news is that the game plays really well without them, but I want nothing more than a complete game. Then I'll play the hell out of it for however long and then it'll get a full shop job.

I'm hoping it'll be right around $100....

Here's a couple pics of the bracket that hold the optos.

Not sure why they came out like an acid trip...must have had the camera shoved up in there too far, but they show what it looks like. Not really much to it.
