My DK Jr 's screen just turned solid white , Turned it off and on again a few times and still just white .

That means your monitor isn't getting a signal from the board. Check your fuses and your video connector...

Nintendo monitors work differently than normal monitors, meaning black is white and vice versa. So, if you have an all white screen, that means you actually have a black screen. But it means also that your monitor is working. You probably can't credit it up or start a game either, huh?

Ok the white screen is back !

Last time I unplugged the white video cable from the game board to the monitor and the picture came back perfect . I moved the cab today , turned on the game and the white screen is back , except ... I can see the outline of the game and able to play it but the picture is all white . I messed with the cables again but it didn't fix it . Could there be cold solder joints at the pins on the monitor board where that cable plugs in ?

Try adjusting your brightness?

Heres what it looks like with the brightness turned all the way down , screen turns kinda green . I've also tried using a different white video cable and no difference .

This isn't being run through an inverter board, is it?

Reseat every connector on your game PCB and on your monitor, including the neckboard...

No its not being run through an inverter board . I reset all the connections to the game board already , but not the connectors on the monitor or neck board , I'll try that tomorrow . Thanks for the help !

So did all this and still the white/green screen . Any other ideas ?

Just remembered what causes this, and it is one of two things. Either your video cable is bad or the ground pins on your video headers are not making good contact.

Reflow the video header pins on the chassis first and try it again. If that doesn't fix it, replace the video cable and try it again.

Thanks Dokert !

I've tried a different video cable already and it didn't fix it , so it must be the video header pins on the chassis . I'll reflow solder there and see what happens .
