white line across top of monitor

It could be foldover, but more likely the monitor position or height just needs to be adjusted. Because this monitor is mounted vertically you need to adjust the horizotal size and position.

foldover generally occurs when the caps are going bad. it'll be something that you can't adjust out. commonly happens on the Nintendo monitors where the top will be so squished that it looks like it's upside down at the top.

I'm not entirely sure how or why that would happen horizontally though. it could be your width coil needs adjustment... is your Galaga an old one or is it an anniversary edition one? the picture quality appears to be too good to be a cap thing, I would think lol

reason I ask is because the K7400 in our Ms. Pac/Galaga the width adjustment won't go any smaller. I have to flip the width coil to fix it, and I lost my adjustment tool AGAIN.

hopefully someone smart will chime in. :)

I have a similar white line on my Ms Pac-Man. Mine is not present all of the time though. My monitor has been recapped, new flyback and hot. Not sure what the cause is and I can't adjust it out.

I'm starting to see this problem pop up more and more on the go7 chassis and it looks like the problem is with the two 3.3/50 volt bi-polar caps. These caps are not included in anybody's kits so

Piece of shit blackberry cut me off before I was finished. You can send your chassis back for another look Dave but if the two bi polars are anything but black or light blue, they're original. I now have plenty of the bi polar ones in stock.

I have this same problem (posted in a new thread on 3/16). Cant get rid of the white line - mine is a little thicker. In a Spy hunter, G07.

I replaced all caps (as Chris suggested - even the small 33uf's), new horiz width coil.

Not sure what to do next to get rid of it - anyone here who had the problem solve it yet?
