The lights for the 'tolls' (circle of lights mid/high/center) of the playfield were really dim, some not working. I replaced all bulbs and then noticed that it I pushed on the molex (connected directly to the light board) the lights brighten right up and the non working ones work. I pulled the molex and pushed it back on but they go dim if I dont apply pressure./...

Any ideas? Bad trace or something?

Have you re-flowed the pins on that board? If you can apply pressure to that connector and it works great, odds are high that's your issue.

So I reflowed the pins (and by that I mean, I hit the solder at the base of each pin with the iron until it liquified and the moved onto the next one). Still having the same issue. It's strange, it's not just one light, the whole 'bank' of lights dims or goes in/out based on pressure on all the pins via the molex

I had this issue on my first Whirlwind and it turned out the yellow wire's IDC connection was weak and providing intermittent ground to the entire PCB as the wire's shielding has not been completely pierced at the factory. You might want to pull it and reseat it.
