Whirlwind having issues kicking out third ball to plunger when two are locked

When I have two balls locked and there is only one ball left by the plunger, it has trouble kicking out this ball when it's all alone down there. It might take ten tries before it finally kicks the ball to the plunger. Sorry if I am not wording the areas correctly. Anyways, any ideas?

Check to make sure everything from the trough itself to the kicker are aligned properly and that they're screwed down tight. I had a machine where the kicker kept failing to place a ball properly and it was due to a few loose screws. What was happening is when there were multiple balls in place it would be stable due to the weight, but when it was a single ball it would slip a bit.

Your kicker works fine when there's a full trough?

Yes, it works great when there are three balls down there.

Just check it out visually first. Like he said, something loose can cause it. Or you might find something bent or extremely worn. Shouldn't be too hard to figure out.

Well, I now see why this is happening. When two balls are locked, the third ball is ejected to the plunger and it bounces off the chute wall and back into the chamber. When there are other balls in there the ball bounces off the wall then the other balls and then down to the plunger. Can I angle that somehow?
