Opinions wanted.
Which game would you choose to own out of the following?
AND why?

Tempest
Tapper
Timber
Qbert
Bosconian
Sit Down Star Wars (NON WORKING)
Centipede
Mortal Kombat 4 (dedicated)
Mortal Kombat 3 (non dedicated)

star wars and tempest, they are arguably the most popular/most collectible games on the list. However from a mechanical standpoint, those 2 games suck balls to get up and running too bieng vector games.

What do you mean? If they were all offered to me for free to keep for myself?

No brainer. Star Wars cockpit.

Why? The gameplay. The sounds. The legendary status. The nice price tag one keeps when time to sell. Everything.

Runner-up? Tempest. Vector. Sideart. Sounds. Beautiful, man.

...on a side note. The only game on the list I would turn down if offered for free? MK4. What a shithole insult of a game to the franchise.

I guess Tempest because I don't have any color vector games. I already have Centipede just need to get it working again great game though I highly recommend it. I honestly don't like Star Wars at all or fighting games so these two would be my only choices off the list.

Sit down Star Wars, of course. Who wouldn't love 25" Amplifone goodness?

Close second would be either Tapper or Timber. (Would have been Tempest, but I've already got one...)

Honestly, I think every single one of us here is going to say the Star Wars Cockpit. Except perhaps one or two crazy people here that actually like Mortal Kombat....

Great insight! I never played 4 so I have no idea what it was like. Plus I hate the stupid white bald guy on the side.

Since everyone seems to love Star Wars, I have to mention that it is non working. Maybe that might change people's opinions.

Totally doesn't matter. That game is damn rare. And it's not like it's hard to fix - Star Wars is well documented. If the cabinet is in good shape, you're good.

LOL! I might be one of those crazy people as I am considering it. LOL!
It isn't that I don't value the others, I just don't own a fighting game. Not that I am leaning towards it. If anything, I am leaning towards the Tempest.

If they were all offered for $200, the order with which you'd buy them is the order in which you can get the greatest return on your investment later:

Star Wars Cockpit
Timber
Tempest
Tapper

Don't bother with the rest...

Cool insight modessitt. Thanks! I am a bit surprised that you didn't put the Tapper and Timber together. Aren't they by the same company? Pretty similar correct?
