which would you choose $1600

LOL LOL!

yes i ll see how it goes with space jam.

top 10 yes.. im going there in 2 years maybe..

im buidling from ugly arcade to better stylish. let s see

im gonna check terminator 3 first .. and hope he respond

if i get his respond i may go for $1,800 on T3 =)

i havent played t3 but from what ive been told its really a updated t2 but 1800 is a good price but not great, avg ive seen for sale(doesnt mean they sold) was 2200, so if you like it i might suggest offering 1500

T2 is a $1,200 game. Dirty Harry as well. I've seen WW go $1,400 - $1,500 but they were really nice.

For $1,600 I'd pass on all those games. The only T2 I've ever seen over $1,500 was really really nice, and I'm not even sure he got what he wanted.

Really.... DH is 1.2k game??? I would love to find one in that price range!

you need to consider the cost to repair/replace that into your price and figure another 100 for bulbs,rubber,etc...

me personally would not offer more than 1500 knowing it needs at LEAST one repair

what did they mean about RPG or RGP that spins/. what does it called.. i checked the net and couldnt find the parts..

LMK

im guessing it refers to a toy, like Rocket Propelled Grenade, but someone who owns the game could be a better help lol

EDIT:Toys: R(ocket) P(ropelled) G(renade) cannon in backbox.

most likely either the coil has an issue, the driver for that switch is bad or BOTH

price to fix myself/professional (morely like i can fix myself anyway..) i rather fix both coil and driver..

a coil 10bucks or so, driver and pre-driver about 3-4bucks, youll need a soldering iron :)

and time!, again though as many will tell you ,EXPECT to have to put money in it, and adjust your offer accordingly, most machines have a board that 300.00 (or more or more than one) so id figure that budget at 300 + 100 for bulbs, rubber, novus etc...

I agree with all the above comments about geography. I live in Nebraska and the supply is extremely low. I very rarely ever see anything show up on craigslist or mrpinball and when it does people are asking anywhere from $1800 - $2500 for games like T2. The only time you would get a game for under $1000 is if it is a game nobody wants or is a pre-solid state game and even then people put crazy prices on their games.

For $1600, I would choose dirty harry. Usually, whirlwinds and T2s go for less than that. A haunted house is cool to look at, but the gameplay is nothing compared to the others.

understood.. thanks

ill go up and snag that terminator 3 rise of machine!

and fix coil/driver myself .. yes i do have big solder gun to shoot down terminators!

Boy, honestly, none of those are woth 1600. Also, there are other awesome games you can get for that price (and less) that I would buy before those pins. Who Dunnit, Doctor Who, Johnny Mnemonic, World Cup Soccer, High Speed 2, Demolition Man, Fish Tales. All of those I, personally, enjoy more. But, it's up to you.

These are all good suggestions in your price range. I don't think any of the original posted games (T2, DH, WW) are quite worth $1600 unless, maybe, it was immaculate. I also don't believe in the cliched/simplistic approach of "buy a top 10 machine." Apart from price considerations, you may not even like a few of these games. (There are a few top-10 games I don't like.) I kind of chuckle inside when I see that someone has a "standard" collection of top-10 pins, realizing that they are buying what everyone else likes and haven't really formed their own opinions. (I highly doubt that everyone likes each of the same top 10 or 15--nobody I know does.) OTOH, I *loved* the collection of classic Stern games that I played at a tourney in Allentown recently. Lots of great games with fun pinball action. These SS games can be relatively inexpensive--you could even get 2 nice ones for under $2k if you're lucky.

It's important to find a game that YOU like, in your price range. I like T3 (more than T2, which depends far too much on the cannon shot for multiball and jackpots; the cannon shot isn't even a pinball skill!). Played both of them a few times this weekend, along with many other games. $1800 for a decent T3 is a good deal IMO, and it has a great variety of tight shots and modes to be a keeper.

I also like a few other games in the under-$2k range, like Starship Troopers, the Shadow (might be under $2k, not sure), Johnny Mnemonic ( very fast game), Judge Dredd (widebody). And I like many of the Data East games like Tommy, WWF Royal Rumble, Jurassic Park, Last Action Hero...

Terminator 3 Pinball

I had decided to go for Terminator 3 cuz i alway loved Terminator series and it s newer model.

They wanted it for 2000 but I had offered $1500 cuz RGP rotary is not working (will need fix) and there is minor fixing.. Nothing Major.

He had accept my offer of $1500.

we have the good smoky stuff here in rockford lol

We have the luck of bieng close enough to chicago and theres tons and tons of stuff available in chi and in the burbs, plus rockford itself is a town of 150,000, then were really close to beloit and janesville wi, so were in a good honey hole with tons of games floating out there. The ecomony here sucks bad, super bad, so the prices of everything but gas beer and cigaretts is way down.

I have several games im just holding on to because i refuse to "give" them away
