I asked this question to my local collectors group, but I'll ask again here. Aight gang, I sold off the Strange Science pinball for Waaaay more than it was worth so I'm upgrading to a DMD (dot matrix display) machine. I have three that are in my price range that I can buy locally. I'm taking input and hopefully, some of you have played these before and can give some firsthand opinions. Here are my choices:

Bram Stokers Dracula (BSD)
I hear condition is great, but no pics yet, but this is the most expensive of the three @ $1350

Tales from the Crypt (TFTC)
Looks great, but this one is missing the custom door handle ball launcher. Probably hard and expensive to replace - $1200

Black Rose
Neat theme, gets good reviews. on eBay right now - faded side art, but playfield looks good. $1200

Any opinions? I think I'm leaning towards the BSD.

I would go for the TFTC personally but that's only cause it's one of the first pins that got me hooked back in the day. BSD is well known as one of the best B type pins for sure. It's also known to be very hard. So that can be either good or bad depending on how you look at it and who's going to be playing it.

I'd get TFTC :)

i would go for the BSD, its a better pin than the other two you asked about

TFTC without the handle would be a deal breaker for me, that is one of the coolest parts of the game.

Black Rose is ok, but just not in the same league IMO.

But for 1300.00 on the BSD, make sure a few things, one, that the red on the sides is nice and vibrant, not faded, for the price, it should be. Also, make sure the mist multiball works fine, expensive to get parts for if not.

I have owned all three of the games, and BSD was my favorite of the 3

Forget those and buy my HS2 the getaway for 1500. It is an awesome game in great shape.

Buy Drac! I love the pop bumper music and the girl biting the breast of drac on the playfield :001_ssuprised:
