Today I played
Star Wars, ESB, Battlezone, Battlezone II and Red Baron Using the Vector wars board and my SW cab. BZII is quickly becoming my favorite game.

I got to play Tempest, Defender, Rampage, Centipede, Q*bert, Rush 2049, Star Wars Trilogy, Gauntlet, and No Fear and Simpsons pins.
Love it when the machines behave and people leave laughing and smiling.

Had to replace the batteries on my joust board so I played a game after and set my all time new high score. Previous high score was 410k.

After fixing the no sound issue on my kung fu master I played through the first round and made it to the second floor boss in the second round. New high score of 173k.

I love this on the 2600. Sadly I have never seen a cabinet in person. I would like to play one.

Venture is best in the dedicated arcade cabinet with the big stick. My arm still hurts from the half dozen games I played.
Second best is on the ColecoVision.
Either way, you don't lose the experience. IMHO

Several decades ago I purchased my Exidy Venture cab off of Ebay for a few Benji.
Turns out it was at a pawn shop in NY state. That was a fun road trip.
Finding the games. Repairing the games. Looking at the games. Restoring the games. And playing the games. All good.

Got to play Blitz 2000 Gold with my son. We had just got into playing Blitz 99 together and figuring out how to play it when we realized we couldn't solve why player 4 wouldn't work. So I swapped out for 2k gold. He was bummed at first, but I think he'll like this version just as much. He played a game by himself and the ran over to say one of the new call outs he heard. I'm hoping this becomes a bonding thing we both enjoy together! Still trying to get the rest if the family to play so we can do 2 on 2 games... but hey, even if we only got these few games in, I'm thrilled!

It's been too long since I've played any…but tonight I played several games of Ms Pac Man fast, Tempest was playing blind at Christmas, but fired up tonight, several games of Food Fight and about 20 games of Jurassic Park pinball.
