"OMG I still can't believe I have this game!"

Which game in your collection is more shocking to you as a I CAN'T BELIEVE IT, experience. Even as a collector it's rare enough to suprise even yourself. Basically which is the gem of your collection.

I'm a JAMMA guy so my games that suprise myself are:

Golden Axe RODA
Operation Thunderbolt.

Donkey Kong.
I can remember being in elementary school, and wishing I had one. And of course, from that point through the end of my childhood, pretty much always having that thought in the back of my mind.
Then, for the last 15 or 20 years, every now and then, I'd see a game @ a movie theater, or see something "arcade" related, and think how bad I wanted to have a real live Donkey Kong machine of my own.
Now I do. Granted, it's only been a couple weeks now! but it's very exciting, and I have a feeling I will be enjoying this game for a long time. My youngest son has also taken quite a liking to it, so that doubles (or even triples) the enjoyment!!

Reading the thread title makes me think you were pretty excited when you were typing it. :p

As for which games I can't believe I own, I would have to say all of them. I've been collecting for about a year and a half and I can't believe I have some of the games I do. But I guess if I had to pick one I would say my Space Shuttle pin. The reason being is because I had never considered owning a pin when I first got into this hobby. It's also my favorite pin out of the ones I own.

Computer Space (which isn't surprising since that's what my nickname stands for).

The game is absolutely terrible and I love every curvacious inch of that cabinet.

the guy that got the Star Wars Arcade is a perfect example of this.

That thing is like one of the best star wars games ever, it's rare and its so huge that you must say OMG!!!!

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I'm just blessed to have all of these games in my home and I'm still amazed when I think about it. As a kid, I only dreamed of having an arcade game and the fact that it's become a reality for me is an awesome feeling. I don't have much that WOWs me personally as a collector. Though, if I had to categorize:

Based on personal reasons, I'd have to say I can't believe I own a SFII:WW. I think it was the game I dropped the most quarters in as a kid next to maybe 4P Konami and Neo Geo MVS cabs. It's THE classic JAMMA game that revolutionized the fighting genre and the franchise is still going strong today. It's the most popular of my collection even though it's probably the least rare.

Based on rarity, I'd have to say my red tent and Mario Bros. WB. It took me a while to find the red tent and eventually had to ship it. I guess you can call that impatience, but I own one now and it definitely gets the most looks and questions when people come over. Everyone recognizes Mario Bros. and the WB cab just looks sweet.

While I have been collecting games for a while now, I never thought I would own a Rush The Rock AE! ...But now I do, and NOW I want another one!

On the other hand, it's, WOW! I used to own a very nice Donkey Kong!!!! but in a lapse of bad judgement, I sold it, long ago.. :(

And on yet another hand, it's, .......DAM! I can't believe I DO NOT OWN a 25" Smash TV................

Red Baron and Star Trek(and Battlezone to a point) give me "that" feeling. :)

I have our non-periscope Battlezone in the family room while I work on it and I just sit in our recliner and stare at the sideart... it's a beautiful game imho. :D

I feel this way about all my games. And like many of you, each game brings back a flood of memories of when and where I first played it and places where I regularly played it.Even now I think to myself....holy crap,I own arcade games! How cool is that?!
