I keep meaning to ask this and never get around to it so I'm making the time now.

1. My Monaco GP cockpit-conversion seems to be a total magnet for clutter- I end up putting tools on the top of it (with the goal of it being a 'temporary' thing), and then before you know it it's covered with CRAP.

2. Sorcerer pin - God help this poor game when it's not turned on! It's been used as a storage table (both by me and my wife), a work area, and a shelf. It gets harder and harder to keep stuff off of this game for some reason.

3. Evel Knievel pin project - since it's still in project status, it's also still in BURIED status.

4. opening between Battlezone and Monaco GP cockpit-conversion: this is that spot of the room that can't be seen well from the entrance to the (g)arcade. So, it's constantly getting filled with tools, extension cords, and misc crap that ends up preventing me from getting to BZ to play it as much as I'd like.

Which of your games seem to attract the most clutter, either from you OR the other inhabitants of your home?

My pinball's right by the front door, so it gets used for coats, mail, stuff going back to the library, etc.

My 3 pins and the tops of the 3 nintendo cabs. I should not be allowed to have any flat spaces.

Mortal Kombat. it's right by the back door that leads out to the garage and it collects all kinds of tools and other things that are eventually headed out there. it also has the big CP which is nice for putting stuff on.

What's funny is my Asteroids UR was my first game and when I saw it in a friend's garage, it too was buried in clutter. It must be a global issue!

My Red Tents are cleaned off every week it seems like.
I swear they are like giant magnets for clutter!

My pool table rarely gets used to actually play pool and instead doubles as a snack table, a workbench, a seat, and a place to leave empty cans/bottles. It is also a good place to put the pinball glass when you take it off a machine to work on it.

When I was a kid we had a bumper pool table, an air hockey table, and a ping pong table. The bumper pool and air hockey constantly had crap on them, and the ping pong table was folded up against the wall with crap in front of it. I used to chastise my father about it all the time!!

None in the house as I will not allow it, all of the projects in my garage are fair game, heck I have a bmx bike on top of a Dynamo cab out there...:D

Does my entire game room count? Actually, any flat surface is fair game for storing crap....and dust!

How many of you actively dust your games, including the top?

My Asteroids cocktail has had lots of parts, artwork, tools, etc sitting on it over the last few years. Oddly enough my 6 player X-Men would be the best candidate for that considering the humongous control panel, but I can't let my grail be cluttered. :D

I live in the desert, so I gave up a long time ago. I just hose them down once in a while with the air compressor.

I try to dust my games every month because they can get a fair amount being in the basement. The Swiffer does a pretty good job and the flex handles make it easy to clean the tops of games. The only thing that annoys me is how the Swiffer will catch on the top of a game if the cabinet's not smooth.

Pacman and Crazy Climber have nice level tops that are suitable for alternative shelving.

Star Trek upright and cockpit too for that matter.
