The old cabaret MT6, or this Jade 2 bartop I just picked up? Maybe both?

I would keep both. Those things seem to be better crowd pleasers and more fun for casual and women players than most classics. Plus, IIRC you already have a lot of classics.

I would keep the Jade. it has a better selection of games plus it has a kids club catagory that you can activate in the settings menu.

Convert the upright into an MP3 jukebox. Mine is the hit of my game room. :)

get rid of both and get an lcd version. those are very reasonable these days. the monitors on the tube style go bad often.
get a force 2007 or newer. way more games, newer trivia questions, etc.

Actually the Tatung monitors are pretty robust so you have to see what you have. I prefer the countertops myself plus it is a newer version than your upright.

Some of us need the older trivia questions. ;):D

Just don't get the trivia too old. I have a Trivia machine in which I can choose bible trivia or swap the board and choose MASH trivia or miss almost all the questions because they are so dated to 1984.

If the cabaret ever dies, I might consider that jukebox idea (privided someone wanted to supply me with a front end). It's CGA though (not VGA) and I have tons of spare parts for it already to keep it alive and well as an old school MT. I may or may not sell it, but looks like the Jade bartop isnt going anywhere (at least for now). Already made a space downstairs for it. The cabaret's been upstairs for awhile now.
