Ok, I have a pair of Golden Tee boards here, I wanted to keep one for myself and the other is going to a customer who didn't have a particular year in mind.

So which of these 2 is considered to be better.

Golden Tee '98

or

Golden Tee '99 Tournament Edition.

I haven't played enough Golden Tee to have any idea if certain years are better than others or if it really doesn't matter.

Which one is the best deal for the money... Assuming newer ones are gradually more.

I too would like to know which ones are better for the money. Is there a site somewhere that breaks down the differences in greater detail than on klov?
Also, when did they start using hard drives? I would rather use a PCB.
Could these be played out of a cabaret cabinet or do you really need the surface area for the trackball?
What years is Pat Summerall narrating?
Thanks!
Al

Golden Tee Fore is where the hard drive started. I have a 2005 and Summerall is in there.
All the games up to Fore are totally playable in MAME if you want to check them out... I wound up buying my Fore based on playing GT99, GT3D and 2K in MAME.
A laid back monitor is helpful for the swing, but you can play them with less room.
