Which Golden Axe games were released with dual monitor versions?

There's a gentleman selling a dual-monitor Golden Axe game a few miles from me, just curious which ones could be setup that way, he doesn't seem to know much about it or any of the other games he's selling.

Probably a converted Punch-Out! or similar.

Golden Axe was primarily a kit game.

Ahh, I'd had something in my head that I'd seen a Revenge of the Death Adder with dual monitors in my teens. If it's a converted Punch-Out! I may need to hunt down a pcb for it and restore it.

If it's Golden Axe: Revenge of Death Adder, it could be in a VS. Dual cabinet, since it's a 4 player game.

That's where my hopes lie. That or a Punch-Out! cabinet. Either would leave me very happy.

A 2 or 3 screen Golden Axe game would have been awesome.

Alas I don't recall any of those games really using more than one screen?

I also saw a dual screen Golden Axe setup bitd. Probably a vs. Cabinet.

Of course we are talking same shit on both screens, right? Not something akin to X-Men 4/6-player with the scene spaced out on both screens?

THAT would be sweet.

Btw dude your new avatar is seriously freaking me out. I'm not sure if it is a pinball machine, or a alien face, or a creepy vagina...

That's sadly probably what I remember... Here's hoping it's something at least worth picking up though!

EDIT: We have information! It's the original Gauntlet, now to ask what cab it's in.

That would have been bad ass, but sadly...no. I believe it was just the second monitor sharing the video signal and the other set of controls being player 2.

My avatar is from a promo-poster I put together for one of my pinball tournaments. I am having a hard time spotting the vagina though.

Wasn't there a Playchoice gauntlet? That would have been dual screen.

There was! And this is in a Playchoice-10 cabinet!! With Gauntlet artwork?! Insanity!! Apparently the board needs repairs (bad ROMs so I'm told) though I don't know as if it's a Gauntlet board or a PC10 board with Gauntlet, either way, for $200 it's very tempting...

The PC-10 version is a pretty fun version as well. It has progression and IIRC an ending (haven't reached it yet).

Here's hoping it's a PC-10 setup then! That'd be far more exciting. We will see tomorrow then!

Went and checked it out. It's Golden Axe in a dual PC-10 cabinet. Anyone know what it should cost (roughly) to pick up a PC-10 motherboard/harness/psu ? Curious if this is a worthwhile endeavor or not, well, financially anyhow. Also, anything I should look for inside to see if some hard-to-find part is missing or anything?
