In all of your time collecting, which game took you the longest time to get rid of and how long did it take? Have you gotten to the point of parting out a machine that you really didn't want to because it wouldn't sell? I used to have a Continental Circuit that took me 7 months to sell. After multiple listings here,Ebay, and CL an Ebay'r finally bought it.

Atari Arabian. Took about two years. I would not part an original game just because I couldnt sell it. I would part a conversion. No, I am not one of those extremists either, just a choice I make.

I think Arabian sucks donkey balls. Good for the donkey, not good for me.

Here are some of my dogs that took forever-

Exidy Circus - the dude was going to MAME it.

Spectar - dude drove from Pennsylvania to SC for it.

Cheyenne - wound up parting it

Combat - wound up parting it

I would have loved a Cheyenne or Combat, those Exidy games are great. Toobin would be the game for me, I still have it. I have not super actively tried to sell it because I like it and don't want to get rid of it, but I have no space.

Toobin was a bitch for me too. Listed it 3x on ebay before it sold for $50 less than I paid for it. I don't understand the appeal for that stinker, and often times see it up for sale mere weeks after someone acquires it as a 'grail'. My Jr. Pac Cabaret was the same way. 3 ebay listings, finally sold it for $10 less than I paid for it. Another tough one was my working Pole II Upright. Seemed that I listed it on KLOV quite a few times over the course of a year or so. Easiest was a restored DK. Started an interest thread (not even in the FS section *gasp*) and it sold the next day or so.

Oh, and currently it's my Red Tent giving me the most trouble. I've tried to sell it on and off for over 2 years or so. Now I am taking it apart piece by piece and having everything refurbished and powder coated. It will be a year long restoration, but it will be nearly perfect when complete. Wonder if it will sell then?

Vs super mario bros. Im going on three months now that ive been wanting to sell it and can never find time to post it anywhere! May just end up parting it as it needs a new tube anyways. :(

It took me forever to sell my Pleiades. Fun game, just no interest out there.

There is. It's just that I'm in Seattle and you're in Utah.

I will own a dedicated Pleiades someday, and I will likely have to ship it in when I do. Never seen one around here.

Took me a few months to sell my Toobin also. No one would sell me a sound board so I saw no reason to keep it. It's really a shame too because it was one of my grails. I'll get another some day I guess.

Silkworm in a UA cab was a bit of a bear to sell....picked it up for $40. Tried to sell it for $150. Then $100. Then $50. Then $10. No takers.

Advertised it for free and someone was there immediately to haul it off.

I think I tried to sell Zaxxon for about a year. I ended up throwing it in with a deal to try to get my asking price on another game.

I usually sell games when I need the money for something, so they sell cheap and quick.

All of them if I think about it. Between people haggling price, the economy, and just straight broke and still people want games. But that's the nature of things. Lol

Yeah I did the same with Gaplus. For all the people who say they love that game I still couldn't get $200 for a fairly nice working one. So I threw it into another deal.
