Which game(s) do you regret selling the most?

I was just thinking about this yesterday while I was talking with my wife. Now that we're beyond some of our money issues and I've started looking positively at this hobby again I realized I have my first regret. Selling my Vs. Ice Climber was dumb. The cab wasn't in fantastic condition, the overlay wasn't great, it was missing a back door, the monitor had a little burn... but it's just a great game. Fortunately this is also one that shouldn't be too terribly hard to re-construct. Just need to get a cab, a chipset, and a marquee. Oooh man, the marquee on the one I sold on here was NOS before it went on this cab. Dammit. :)

My ms. pacman / galaga reunion cocktail. I was in a big money crunch that year. Sold many games

All six of my Computer Space games including 1 HUO red metalflake, and a green two player.

Space War cocktail - traded it for one of the above mentioned Computer Space games. I didn't realize at the time just how rare of a game it was! Oh well, live an learn.

I don't have many games I regret selling. I think the only one I can think of is my restored Vs. Unisystem The Goonies. Long story short, I got a red tent and didn't feel a need for it (extra Vs., little play, etc.). I ended up doing a 3-way deal for my 4P Konami X-Men. Then, I realized why I had it in the first place. The game is mediocre at best I'll admit, but it has a high nostalgia value to me.

Also, it was by far the nicest restore I've ever done for the most part. It had all original art and I even had a NOS serial sticker that I had taped on the bezel (so not to "use" it). I sold it as a kit and I'm guessing it will be near impossible to find another serial sticker again.

I do have an extra NOS marquee and just got an original Vs. topper as well. When I have the space in a future home, I'll restore another cab to Vs. The Goonies.

Super Punch-Out, 720, Warlords Cocktail, NBA Jam, and Marble Madness.

For me it would be Tron & Space Invaders. I sold the Tron because someone got me at a weak moment and I regretted it immediately after I did it.

Funny thing is, I got another Tron about a month ago in a trade and picked up a Space Invaders this week!

my strata bowl, needed the money for another machine sold it on ebay the guy drove from arkansas to pick it up.

I've regretted every machine I've ever sold. lol

Defender, Tron, Fireball Pinball and a beat up mspac

 My first game which was a very nice Donkey Kong. Paid $50.00 to a friend of a friend for it cause the picture was extremely dark. Got it home, got on the information highway, found out what pot did what, turned up the brightness and had a beatiful picture! No burn at all. The side art was nearly perfect as was the cpo. I replaced the marquee light, installed new t-molding and the High Score Save kit; she was sweet.
But after having it for around two years, sold it on eBay cause I needed the $... darn shame..

Probably my Bally Speakeasy pinball machine. I got it on the cheap, but decided to trade it for a Black Widow. The pin needed some work and I did get a fairly nice working vector out of it, but I still kinda regret it just because I gave up a pin.

There are several games that i kick myself for selling.

I've sold a number of games, many rare. It gets easier to let them go when you have no space. Only one I ever really regretted was a Cloak & Dagger (Stargate conversion).

I still have no room and need to sell more.:001_ssad:

The only game I have ever sold/traded was my south park pinball. I traded it with some cash for my Cirqus Voltaire. I didn't have the cash to buy the CV straight out and I really wanted it!

Don't regret getting my CV, just wish I could have kept my South Park pin as well!

I do have a box of nos south park replacement parts waiting for me to bring one home.

In due time... We will meet again!

Any of my Dedicated Crystal Castles.

My Mr Do's Castle which I got for free for delivering a game. So it in a lot to a guy and he ebayed it and it went for 11.25. I would have bid on it if I had know it was on ebay and going to go cheap.

My Journey and Root Beer Tapper.

Metro Cross and Swimmer.

I go through phases and get rid of stuff. Sometimes for money sometimes just to move stuff out.
