There are several games that i kick myself for selling. Its hard to pick just one. Probably Stargate, Major Havoc, Tommy pinball, Phoenix (first game, got it as a Final Fight) and Donkey Kong Jr.

I don't seem to have a picture of the Phoenix anymore. There are alot more than just these that I regret selling but these are the main ones.

Without a doubt MOON PATROL... What a stupid decision that was. I got rid of mine for space reasons, took a HUGE loss and have never seen one in the area since. Add that to the fact that I have missed it since day one... Lesson Learned.

Robotron. it was not working and i was out of space for storage so i sold it to a guy on CL about six years ago who repaired it and flipped it.

i ran into him not too long ago and asked him about it. guess what? he regrets selling it too.

Where to start...

Journey, complete and fully working. Nice shape. Sold it at least 8 years ago...
Reactor
Duramold Blaster
Zektor (at the time, it was the only one known to exist, and it had been in storage since new)
Crazy Climber (Taito Cab)
Pleaides ...Although I have an original boardset with jamma adapter in a multi jamma now.

I have owned a BUNCH of games over the years that I SHOULDN'T have sold, but at the time, I really didn't think that I would miss them...

I regret selling:

NBA Jam - reason for selling is i wanted to put my #1 in the office so it got moved to garage. Never really had competitive players over to play with me.

TMNT - Was in middle of cleaning up but a big game and didnt think i could fit in basement. After moving Gauntlet Legends into basement i regretted this move. Currently in cincy playing a role in the Arcade Legends arcade

Smash TV - Had this game for about 2 weeks but couldnt resist offer from a fellow KLOV'r so it left. Probably my cleanest game i had ever bought. Sorry rturb0 ie DK )

Punch-Out - Wasn't really in the position to restore this one at the time and made a nice profit. Also sold it to someone who would definately appreciate the machine as they put it in their arcade, ie Arcade Legends in cincy.

My M-I-N-T-Y Commando...

I needed the room (wife wasn't used to a garage full of arcades like she is now). Worst part is the guy who bought it said that his intent was to MAME it... :004_scry:

sea wolf, cause it was an awesome game and i haven't seen one since, and combatribes, cause it was fun to play and a great 3 player party game.

All because off lack of space. Limited to 35 games in my basement. Had about 43 keepers which meant something had to go

Food Fight ( had two of them and got rid of both)
Tempest
Arm Wrestling (only one I ever seen besides the one everyone's favorite klover had Davez)
My First Multicade I made
Mad Planets

I sold my Vs. Castlevania without removing the marquee and listing it for $100 on ebay - LOLOL As someone that has owned and enjoyed the game - I would pay about $100 for a complete kit, and not a penny more.

Raiden II
She wasnt pretty but I played the frickin crap out of that game
JrPac Helped me quit smoking!

I regret selling my Tempest cabaret, loved that game (and also the first game I ever bought). It had Clay's multi kit in it, monitor was recapped, along with a new tube from Richardson, LV2000, new tempered smoked glass, and Chumblepuzz (?) spinner rebuild kit. Hated to part with it - but my understanding was it was going into Todd's (from TNT Amusements) personal collection, so I at least assume it got a good home.

The pictures aren't all that great.

I was just about to sell my Sinistar (my first piece of "crack" in this addiction)... but now you have me reconsidering the idea altogether! LOL

This hobby... you just can't get it out from under your skin!!!

Has there been an episode of HORDARDS about arcade collecting??? If not, there should be!

I really only have two that I regret.

Red Baron UR - I just didn't have the room for it. At the time I was living in an apartment and had to keep it at my bar. I thought i had the bar sold so I sold it only to have the supposed buyer of the bar back out of the deal. I still wouldn't have room for it and I know it went to a good home.

Tempest UR - I sold it because I also had a CT and at the time the CT was worth a lot more, but of course that is not the case anymore. At least it has a full size monitor.

Demolition Derby UR. Bought it off a route. 5000 plays on the counter, in fantastic shape.

My first game. Sold to get $$ to buy an Elevator Action, which I played like crazy. But still miss my DD...

Probably my upright Star Wars. I sold it because I got the cockpit, but when I sold the cockpit I really (and I mean really) miss the upright...
