It's got a cowboy and a rabbit on it.
Is it any good?

boulder dash is a bad ass game.. LOVED it on C-64

LOL it's the same machine

Silly me! Having not read Bills thread I came across the same CL listing as the one he brought home a few weeks ago. At least someone here will try to save it. Great low OBO price!

True but I didn't know what it was. I could have only avoided this by having followed Bills "pickup" thread.

I thought that the CL posting was recent since up here they expire in like a week. Turns out to be a month old CL listing.

Me too! Someone posted a video showing the different games recently -- including the Boulder Dash. It is, from what I can see, an exact port of the C-64 version, Same graphics, same sounds, etc.

The Max-A-Flex runs off essentially a modified Atari 600 computer from my recollection... so it is the exact port as the Atari computer port...

The 600xl in it did not want to read a cart. So I dropped in an 800xl(ups the internal memory to 64k).. Its amazing that they hacked a 600xl to get seperate audio and video. But the 800xl has a 5 pin din connector that does it for you..

Still can't get it to work right. I think the ntsc to rgb board is having problems. but it could be a power supply issue. They built a funky power/timer thing under the front bezel. I think the problem is there, just have no time to with cax right now to mess with it.
