I have a handy dandy new photo chemical etching system which I recently put into operation for making encoder wheels and what not. The equipment was relatively inexpensive, so it made sense.

Anyhow, I'm all stocked up on stainless steel sheet stock, so I'm ready to start pumping out more encoder wheels. I already have the 720 encoder wheel and 720 centering wheel completed. It's going through QC right now and I'll have the available shortly.

What I need to know is, which other encoder wheels are needed or in demand? Tempest? Roadblasters? DOT? Tron? Let me know.

Also, I will need to borrow your originals if possible OR get a good solidworks model of the wheel.

Thanks everyone.

Dave

I'm 100% certain that Death Race encoders are not in high demand. But right now, I'm using card stock from junk mail on one of mine. Interested in doing a 1-off? Two actually...the second one is split in half, held together by the mounting screw. It's a very simple wheel encoder with a few spokes. Mine are plastic, but metal would be nicer I think. These things are shattered, probably just from the cabinet being moved over the years. Here's a sketch...from memory. I'm not even sure if the number of spokes is right.

Would it be worth your time to make some of these available? I don't have access to CAD, (this is done in MS-Paint) but I can give you measurements if you want.
