Which CRT is Best to keep

All great points. I keep the ones with the least amount of burn whatever they are. Also keep the ones you're the most comfortable with and can and like to work on.

Ya I agree with those who said k4900 amazing design in tube and 4600 flyback is a hammer which i love never breaks but that coil is a pain, I find putting a tooth pick inside keeps it solid straight and some crazy glue and works like a charm. G07 i feel has most parts available however picture color quality is terrible compared to a k4600 I noticed comparing side to side. I use to repair the chassis but now I send them out to Tony Easton and bullet proof for another 40yrs.

Keep em all. I had over 75, but still have about 30 ish left. They take up a lot of space though.

I feel like the 4900's are the tougher units. GO7 is runner up and probably easier to fix at maybe less of a cost. They also provide a great picture. Both were the work horses back in the day. Dump the 4600 monitor chassis with those card extensions but keep all the tubes you can. Monitor swaps can happen but the CRT's need to be saved when ever and where ever you can find them. I must have at least 40 tubes in my barn under cover.

I like the 4900 as I have a few and once repaired work very well.
I have a few AMP/6100 vector clones that have moderate burn tubes that I salvage from raster monitors. With the tinted glass you really can't tell.

I'd scrap them all and upgrade all of your games with nice, bright LCD technology.

I'll take a WG4600 or WG4900 over a G07 any day. Sure, the G07's are easy to work on, because you'll end up spending far more time working on them, and it won't be long before you get tired of replacing flybacks and HOTs.
