Which cabs will plug & play the most different boards

Limited space allows me one more cab, so I'm after one that will allow the most different boards to plug and play.

Any suggestions?

jamma cab. Most specifically probably a taito double dragon cab as it's pretty easy to rotate the monitor from vertical to horizontal.

You can also find many jamma to classic pin out adapters. The only thing that would allow you to play more games than a jamma cab would be a MAME cab.

Sorry, I should have been more specific.

I meant CLASSIC cabs, that are plug and play other boards, or is there a list somewhere that lists boards that have the same pinout??

I don't know of any list. Is there a specific manufacturer you like? If you're talking classic then I seriously doubt games made by two different manufacturers would ever have the same pin out. So this would leave you to choose one manufacturer and look at the possibilities there. I know Jungle king/hunt, elevator action and I think arkanoid use the same pin out. Although arkanoid requires a spinner. There may be a few more taito games that are also interchangable. As for Nintendo there would be DK, DK jr, and Dk 3 that would be interchangable if you have the wiring that utilizes the edge connector. Atari has system 1 which allows you to play 5 different games if you have the kits. Different control panels would be needed. I could be wrong but I think in general atari used unique pin outs for most of it's games.

Thanks...thats the sort of info that I'm after:)

As far as manufacturers go, Taito would be my first choice..but such info about any manufacturers cab would be great, even if they only plug and play 2-3 other boards
