Just wondering which cab you would use to put a 60 in 1 in. I have either one of these cabs available. Both are now empty and in about the same condition.

The one with the Bud Light on it. :)

That's what I was thinking as well. My only challenge with this is going to be getting the monitor to mount in vertical. As you can see it was a DD and there is just a shelf in there where the monitor was only screwed down. Also, will I actually need the double joysticks? Any suggestions?

No, no - that one needs to be converted to a Tapper!

IMHO, the RoboPac cab would be better for resale...

I was just joking. I agree the DD has higher restoration factor. It looks like a Williams cabinet so there might be good art under there. The Pac cab is less attractive and more common IMO. However if you don't care about tossing a multi in the DD cab, I say oh well.

This is going to be for home use and will not be for resale. I also think that Joust is what it may have been originally. Not quite sure until I hit it with some stripper, but that's gonna have to wait. Unless I get real curious and do a spot just to see what is under there. Just wanted to get a few opinions as this one will be coming in my home.

Yep, I say pac cab. Pull the monitor out and put a PC monitor in there too - more reliable, and any 19" computer monitor can be made to fit. Sell the arcade monitor and make some $$ to offset the cost of your 60 in 1 board.

Use the Pac cab

Use the Pac cab and order a new trackball, joystick panel from Mike's Arcade for $30 as a blank. If original monitor is good use it or toss a cheap PC VGA monitor. I would probably use Pac art decals but if you are cheap use a Galaga art set and bezel, custom print a new overlay to match the new panel and be done with it. There is a nice example of a Pac CPO customized for this panel on KLOV.

We actually thought this was Joust or Inferno. Turns out it was a Moon Patrol. I can see speck of the blue pain under the black and the tag with ser# is inside the cab along with the title. Not quite sure what Moon Patrol is, worth a complete restore with none of the original parts?

use the Pac-style for a 60-in-1 (lots of right-sized art available,) and the former Joust for a Multi-Williams!

No .

I actually can't use this cab. There is not enough room to turn the monitor. Unless I really want to modify the inards. I have it working in the Robocop for the time being. Man the sound sucks on these multicade boards.

Yeah the sound especially on like bombjack sucks balls.

Id use the pac. Revinyl it as a pacman, but its a multi, some rich guy will buy it if you make it look nice enough.

That's got to be a Horz Joust/Moon Patrol cab... it wouldn't drop right in there but a 19:1 might.

I'd use the vert cab for a 60:1. It's already been through horible conversions.
