Titles says it all!

Im looking for a best horizonal shooter games other than Rtype Series.. I wanted a game that are one of kind!!!..

I do have raiden 2 for vertical shooter.

Oh horizontal lol I was gonna say grand theft auto. If you kill the horz on there you get your money back! Personally, I like scramble. Not sure if that's considered a shooter, but its a classic.

In the Hunt and Carrier AirWing/U.N. Squadron are all fun. Pulstar on Neo Geo.

Gradius, Xexex, Silk Worm, Darius. There are a ton of other good ones, but those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head. Of those, I really like Xexex.

Progear ( my personal favorite hori)
Gradius/Salamander/Nemesis series
G-Darius
Darius gaiden
Xexex
Parodius series
Ordyne
Thunder Force and Thunder Cross
Side Arms
Blazing Star
Pulstar
Last resort
Prehistoric Isle 1 & 2
P-47 Aces
Sengoku Blade

And more ...

Still looking for a good deal on

I serviced 2 Xexex boards and they were fun to try out....

Oh damn! You own a Darius? You da man!

I'm not a huge fan of shoot 'em ups, but I'll never forget when I sold a Dragon's Breed board for about $300 to a guy in France. It's a horizontal shoot 'em up and was okay to play, but I think it's tough to find. I think Frizz sold his on here and I realized the board could be worth more.

I noticed that Neo Geo has all Awesome Horiz Shooters.. it s best if i just get the multi for once.. that has all horiz shooter games..

thanks man!!!..

i liked the multi neo geo cart but no kick harness that really sucks!!>. or it does support 4 buttons?

last time i had pink one.. it only support 3 buttons.. or i overlooked.. i was noob back then!.

I loved Radiant SilverGun but I have also heard a lot of love for LifeForce.

I eventually hope to get my hands on some Cave games...heard great stuff there too.

If it is the multi-monitor Darius I am coming over.

I really don't have anything to add to the list...although...

I realize you are asking for arcade oriented titles, but check out Gradius V and R-Type Final on the PS2...and hell...Deathsmiles on the 360. All easily attainable.

Soo sorry to list it wrong.

I just have the boards for the F3 Darius Gaiden
and the 3D PSOne based G-Darius.

I don't have any multi monitor versions... I don't think I've even ever seen one. I had a chance to get a Ninja Warriors and wondered if it could be converted but thought that it would be a lost cause.

I have the 150 in 1 MVS on a 1 slot mobo in my Jamma cab .
You will need a MVS to Jamma adapter to connect the 4th button , I have a CPS1 kick harness so I will have to make another harness from that to the adapter .

You don't need 4 buttons for shooters though !
