Which arcade games still aren't worth jack after all of these years?

Just catching up on this thread, I could list a lot of games, Hang On, Stargate, Frogger, Space Invaders, probably Centipede, most have already been listed here but the one that definitely sticks out the most to me is Asteroids Deluxe. To me that game is basically an art piece, I have more valuable games, but I will never get rid of my AD, I just think everything about it is beautiful and they seem to not sell for very much, it's the cheapest game I ever bought that was complete original and in excellent shape.

If you are interested in a Stargate, let me know. I don't play mine enough.

It's a good one, but I grew up on Asteroids. Therefore, I didn't need both and let my AD go. Gotta love that there's one in The Thing, though!

A whole bunch of late 80s/early 90s drivers

I see a lot of Tekken & Virtua Fighter cabs on CL and FB that people cant give away. They didn't hold up like SF and MK.
My 8 year old nephew is obsessed with MK. There is a VF2 right next to it. I told him at one point MK was losing popularity to 3D fighters like VF2, Tekken etc. He was shocked. It's interesting to see how certain things hold up better than others. That being said, I love the 3D fighters as much as the 2D ones.

Seriously though, how about cocktable style pong clones? About 50 years old, but there still seem to be plenty out there, and nobody wants them.
I like them if they aren't swollen and the veneer cracked and peeled. Most are.

I don't need more disintegrating particleboard in my life. :)

Space Invaders is a definite example of this. Basically impossible to sell a space invaders deluxe for any amount of reasonable money.
This is good, because every collector should own one, and does. Same with Asteroids.

SI and Asteroids have to be the easiest games to find. I find them more than Pac-Man, at least in decent condition.

Most bronze age stuff has to be sold to a very specific person to get it's value

Asteroids and Asteroids Deluxe cocktail tables are some of the biggests bargains in arcade game collecting
