Punch Out: "Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor

Berzerk: "No Easy Way Out" by Robert Tepper(Rocky 4 soundtrack)

Turbo: "One Way Street" by Go West(also Rocky 4 soundtrack)

Wild Western: "Wild Wild West" by Escape Club

Tutankham - Bangles, "Walk like an Egyptian"
Major Havoc - I'd use "Major Tom" for this one as opposed to Asteroids. Maybe "Breaking up is hard to do" for Asteroids.

Duck Hunt - Pat Benatar's 'Hit Me With Your Best Shot'

Maneater - Hall & Oates' "Maneater" (of course)

Tapper - George Thorogood's "One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer"

Battlezone - Pat Benatar's 'Love is a Battlefield'

I can't believe nobody mentioned Journey. Maybe it was too obvious...

How about...
Popeye - Pat Benatar - 'Love is a Battlefield'
Dig Dug - Men at work - 'Down Under'
Afterburner - Kenny Loggins - 'Danger Zone'

lol...great thread.

I LOVE this album. One of the first rap albums I bought BITD. The bass line in "I Ain't No Joke" kicks a$$. I miss "old school" rap...

Yep love this album a lot also.
This album was most def. an awesome album, It was in my walkman all the time during the height/peak of my arcade live.
A lot of folks were in to public enemy back then but a few were allready on to the lyricist Rakim and his awesomely tight rhymes and flow. the beats and tunes were fab as well, awesome combo and imo one of the best rap albums from the 80's.
There was this dude in the arcades that was into the same games as I was and also into Eric B and Rakim, we used to talk about the tracks.

I liked Public Enemy too, but Eric B. & Rakim, BDP, Big Daddy Kane and 3rd Bass were my favorites. The early BDP albums were amazing too when Scott LaRock was still alive. By All Means Necessary is my favorite rap album of all time.

I liked P.E but just liked, it was quite a new sound but to violent for me.
Yep BDP was really incredible, my philosophy blew me away, Big daddy Kane ( this is one of the best and most underated imo) and 3rd base i also liked a lot.
The first album from the beasty boys I loved too.
Stetsasonic was great too.

Think we liked the same music :)

I once started a thread about old school rap music.
