Incorrect... it happens because some people just don't shower enough! LOL.
I shower at least 2 times a day.
I would like to know how people are supposed to shower again if they are there for the day and don't have access to one?
With all those people in an enclosed area there is eventually going to be some sort of funk even if everyone showers right before they go in.

Seriously, why would you deprive yourself of access to a shower for two days in an urban environment? Ok, you go camping in the woods, things are going to get funky. But this is in a Hyatt.

I take two showers per day always, sometimes more.
One before I go out.
One before I got to bed.
So, on Saturday, I'll shower in the am, fly to San Jose, enjoy the show, shower before bed. No leaving to shower and coming back.
I don't get where you have confusion?

Sara had a valid point,even if someone showers in the morning they might be ripe later in the night without another shower in that kind of environment.
How can taking 2 showers have any effect on funk,unless you take a second one half way thru the event was my point.
As long as one is taken the morning of the show things should be cool.
LOL! I always love this thread... so true. We really gotta get Old Spice to sponsor the show or something . I remember one of the last video game conventions I went to, there was a dude there that totally looked like he was gonna stink... so I approached with caution, but surprisingly there was no smell... that was Thursday night. The problem was that it went all the way through the weekend, and the dude never showered the whole time! WTF??? By the end of the weekend there was a 5 ft radius green cloud around the guy.

Ya know if I was at an event and smelled you.. I would let you know. Friend or not.. just trying to keep ya' smelling good for the ladies.

. It seems so rude to tell someone they stink, but it's rude of them to be smelling up the place! Of course I'd tell a friend that they stink, but it's hard to walk up to a stranger and tell them they stink.The worst was getting run off a Crazy Climber machine at a show in Philly by some dude that ran over and hit 2P as I walked up to the machine. Apparently that was his favorite game and loved to show people how good he was at it... I found a window to get my hands closed in and ran off

If somebody smells a little bit.. they get a warning.
If I see green fumes rolling off their clothes.. I'll put a gas mask on, walk up and slap the cuffs on them and escort them outside the premises.
If you are the only one in a 20 foot radius of machines... you will be drug outside and a water hose will be your worst enemy.
