looking to find out if anyone here knows where to buy the wire/board connectors which would fit into a jamma harness.
(i assume end crimp and they lock in) and any tool recommendation to do it as well?

I was digging in my machine. and as of now notice the 2nd to last pin which would be -5v has nothing in it. looks like factory wise instead of leaving even a blank one in there they put none. I know orig config on this cab was no -5v but I am learning the options here on how to mod it. As of now there appears to be a switch which is also wired into the jamma harness marked jamma and mvs ill do another thread on that one soon to figure it out. seller said he would provide diagram but he didn't and won't reply to emails asking for some details on his mod..

Bob Roberts carries them. He calls them Molex split pins on his connector's page under Molex Edge Connector housings. I use a Molex HT-1921 crimper and the molex split pin extractor. Bob carries all of these.

ok.

I've hears his name mentioned a lot. and what's his website?.. what do those tools cost?. are they on his website too?. hope not to much.. but I would like to add them in right. I don't know If I could justify buying the tools for a possible single use.

Yes, those are the right ones. He also sells the extractor and crimper on his tools page.

BTW, the homearcade.org is also Bob, he explains why he uses multiple addresses on his site if you care to look.

If you plan on doing any arcade work in the future you should buy the crimpers. Sure it can be done without them but not correctly. The crimpers roll the tabs down and push them into the insulation to help keep the wire from pulling away from the connector.

ill check it out

ill check it out. and read why. just wasn't sure of which site. and as for the tools ill try and locate them depends n how much, if inexpensive enough ill buy one. I really don't plan on needing it much though cause the one cab will probly be enough. I don't hae room lol.
