Just got my first pinball, an Elektra, and have no clue where to begin. Just looking for some advice to steer me in the right direction. Wasn't planning on getting it, but just couldn't pass on the deal, and now I have to basically zero knowledge on pinballs. I understand the video games so hopefully this will not be to bad.

1. Need to find legs: Where is the best place to find
2. Backglass is missing: Any suggestions on replacements
3. When I turn it on get lights (I'm assuming AC power like video marquee lights), but will not coin up and no sign of game life.

Is there a good website to learn the basics of pinball that I should start with?

Thanks so much

Do the VERY basics first. Windex that playfield glass. Lift the playfield & remove any debris but save anything that looks useful like screws etc. Check all the coils to see if any are burned out. Check all the wires for hacks & cut wires. Then check all the fuses.

Thanks so much for the tips. I am really excited to get this pinball working. I didn't have a whole lot of interest in the pinballs until I actually got one. This is going to be fun.

Yes it is and you're going to learn a butt-load about them.

The cool thing about elektra is the entire playfield has a layer of polycarbonate over it so the artwork is always protected. It gets DIRTY though :)

Does the lower level playfield also have plexi over the art as well? It looks way dirtier than the main playfield.
