Hey all, I have a Time Pilot that's missing the cardboard bezel and no one seems to sell repros. But I did find a high res scan of one online. Does anyone know where such a thing can get printed out? I know I can't get it printed to glass or plexiglass in quantity one but hopefully printing a cardboard version isn't as hard, just not sure where to go to have it done.

Print it anywhere on glossy paper. Then glue it to cardboard that you can buy from Hobby Lobby.

Szabosarcades, nice guy and does great work.

Well I was hoping for maybe a more "pro" solution :)

Thanks, just found his website, I'll contact him and see if he can print one for me.

What type of glue do you use to avoid warping or wrinkling the paper or cardboard?

I've used Super 77 and similar types of sprays. I spray it on the cardboard and not the paper to keep the warping to a minimum. Once it dries, any warping goes away on the ones I've done.

I've also used glue sticks. They're easier to use but don't work as well as far as keeping the pieces together.

Hmm ok, I think I'll try that as well then just as an exercise to see how it comes out. I have some "3M 45 Spray On Adhesive" that says is photo safe, so I'll go print out the image I have at the local Staples and try making my own. I've emailed szabo as well to see if he can make one for me.

I use the 3M spray adhesive. Then I lay it on a table with a piece of bezel glass on it with some books for weight. Looks a lot better to me than something printed on cardboard.

Costco prints images on poster board. It's about 1/4" thick and high quality. Do a couple test prints on super cheap 8x12's or 5x7's to get the colors right. Because every Costco has different settings on each printer, different stores print the same image slightly differently. You'd be amazed at how many professional photographers secretly print at Costco.

Just got it printed today at Staples, looks pretty good. They had both a foam board and cardboard there so I bought each. The foam board would be ideal because it's rigid, but I suspect it's too thick to use.
