Hey guys --- I'll be in Vegas this week for a convention and was wondering where are some good places to find arcade/pinballs ... I typically visit GameWorks each year but figured there has to be some other cool places to visit.

Staying at Caesars but can cab it anywhere that is of interest...

thanks!

Let me know if you want to stop by. I have 3 cabs and a ton of games to play in my jamma cab.

Send me a pm for my info.

Where are you staying at?

Yep, Tim Arnold's place is truly a 'must-see' stop. Been there several times. He's a good guy and very knowledgeable.

The Pinball Museum is superb. They even have a token operated popcorn machine. I spent 8 hours in there over two days and still hadn't felt fulfilled. I was staying on the strip and it was WELL worth the cab ride.

They have a vending machine in there too with hot pockets and stuff so you can really camp out. They had this weird safe cracking game that was really cool. The cabs are a little light compared to the pinballs, but they had such an amazing selection of pins and pitch and bats that I didn't care. You HAVE to go, at least for a couple hours. $10 uber ride from Caesars.

There's the Coney Island Arcade inside the New York, New York. But it has a LOT more redemption games than arcade games.

I would suggest trying the Flipperspiel Underground Arcade Club. It's a bit off of the Strip but a pretty cool place. Here's the website: http://vegaspinball.com/

I will echo what others have said... you have to check out the Pinball Hall of Fame. It's about a 5 minute cab ride from MGM.

There is also a neat retro video game store called A Gamer's Paradise next door.

Thanks guys for all the suggestions ... I was able to visit the hall of fame and it was great. very cool to see pretty much every title I've ever wanted to play all in one place. Lots of wear on the newer machines but certainly understandable given the amount of plays these things get.

Thanks again!
