It's in an Asteroids coin door I have. Flip it one way and it stays, flip it the other way and its momentary. What is this type of switch called and where can I order another one?

Thanks! Ryan

They use the same switch on the PAT9000 too. Is there a source for new versions of this switch, or is it strictly find used ones?

You know, that's how that switch is supposed to work.

thanks for the info, that C&K switch looks good

Sorry to hijack this thread, but I have a toggle switch just like that on my Swimmer coin door. What is it supposed to do?

On Swimmer....nothing. It's not connected. Centuri (and other game companies) were using "off shelf" Coin Controls coin doors. The test switch came pre-installed on the coin doors when Atari, Centuri, etc. bought them.

I need the nut and lock waster for one of these(Atari Toggle test switches) switches. Anybody got 1 that they would stuff in a an envelope for cheap?

$9.35 shipping for a 58 cent part! There has to be some place that would ship cheaper. I tried a toggle and momentary switch nuts I had. The momentary was just too big and the toggle was just too small (sounds like the 3 bears here!)
