I feel silly even asking this, but I need a set screw to secure the Tempest knob to the spinner post.

It's a lousy 2 cent piece of metal, but where can I get one? I thought of making one by chopping off the head of a regular screw and then cutting a slot in it, but the set screw is pretty small.

any ideas?

Thanks!

Thanks for the link -- it says they sell it at my local Home Depot, I guess I have to look harder :) .

Having the size helps as well -- Cheers.

Also, Ace or TrueValue Hardware, if you have those close by... Home Depot might make you buy several in a little bag...?

Update

Thanks Talon, Jawhn

I got the screws at Home Depot. Size for my knob are:

8-32 3/8"

the screws are two in a bag for 80 cents :)
They are located in a drawer in the screw/fastener aisle.

Now my knob doesn't have a huge panhead screw sticking out of it!
