Specifically, the ones that are commonly on fighting games (ie. SFII or whatnot) that read:

2 coins (or credits/quarters/whatever) to start
1 to continue

I've done google searches and have come up with absolutely nothing.

Muuuurrrrrrrrrrrrr....

Any help is appreciated!

i think they're called coin chute inserts. I think if you poke around on Bob Robert's site you can find a few different ones. I needed one some time back, and just scanned it and cleaned the scan up a little in paint, then printed another one and cut it out. You couldn't tell it from the original. I just printed it on regular paper, photo or card stock might even work better.

Nope. Those are the guys that slip into the coin eject button. Not what I'm looking for, but thanks for the effort.

This simply a sticker that reads "2 tokens/quarters/coins/credits to start; 1 to continue".

These were on Street Fighter II machines everywhere BITD. Either on the front side of the CP or on/around the coin box.

The ubiquitous one I remember back in the day was the "2 QUARTERS" and "2 TOKENS" yellow, square stickers with black writing.

Just did a Google Image search, and can't find them. Crazy `cause every 50 cent machine had them...

Hey, didn't you give me a set for my MK? I might be able to take a picture for reference when I get home tonight. Haven't stuck it on yet so it could be used for reproduction.

I know what you are talking about. You are right, they used to be on SFII MK/MKII cabs everywhere. Something like"2 quarters/tokens to start, 1 to continue". At least that is what I remember MK or MKII cabs having, like the ones in the attached pic.

The fonts are totally wrong, but the attached picture sort of resembles what the sticker looked like:

was that something put on by ops, or something that was sent from the manufacturer? i've honestly never seen those stickers before.

I would say the ops for sure. I remember starting to see them on the popular fighting games and driving games in the early early 90's.
