Does anyone who sells a cardboard monitor surround for a Centipede cabaret? It's a different profile than the upright Centipede surround, even though they're both 19" screens.

Thanks!

I need one too. However, I don't believe that there is anyone that reproduces them. I think your only option is to head on down to the craft store.....

I have not tried this my self but, here was a thread that said the upright and minis are the same.

Arcade shop sells new ones for the upright.

7146aaron, I'm the one who started that thread. I never got confirmation that they were the same.

So, when disassembling my existing one, I looked at it compared to the AS one. The top of the monitor is recessed a lot more than the bottom, and is very different than what AS sells. From that I've concluded that they are not the same surround.

The upright and cabaret monitor shrouds are different, the upright is fairly equal on the top and bottom depth, the cabaret has a much larger depth at the top, and much less at the bottom.

I salvaged the original from my mini to use as a pattern, since it was ruined when some op converted the game to Capcom Bowling. Poster board was too flimsy, so I went with a lighter weight matte board and it worked great.

Just be sure to use a brand new blade in your knife, and score the folds on the front side.
