Where to buy STERN "Tournament play" sign hinges??

I am looking for the STERN "Tournament play" sign hinges, not the new "L" shaped brackets that have replaced them. I just want to be able to fold the sign down so I can put my Pinwest cover on easily. I can only find the hinges listed at Bay Area Amusements, but they are out of stock. Any suggestions?

Wait for them to be in stock...waiting list. What is the deal with that sign anyways? What Tournament are you in? What use is it in a HUO environment. The local mini-golf place has an arcade and has some pins and all of them have this "tournament play", but theres no tournament. Please explain this. Why do you cover the machine? Is it in a sunny location? Those covers are really cool though.

1) The part is no longer made by STERN, so it may not come back into stock and it is not a standard size hinge.

2) The tounamnet signs are factory installed by STREN, so it is the stock look for certain machines. In my case I have a machine that was intitially made with the hinges but was switched to the non moving brackets at the end of it's production run, so I missed out on the hinge. I have actully replaces the Tournamnet sign with a custom topper and need it to fold down so the cover fits better.

3) I keep it covered because it is new and I want to keep it nice, clean and out of the daytime sun that hits the room.

Ok gotcha, but what is the Tournament Play sign for? You never explained that why did they put these on for, as when I see these pins with this sign in Arcades theres no tournament going on. What new pin you have?

Many recent STERN machines have a tounament system built directly into the software of the individual table. The operator can turn it on or off at will and set all the factors involved "length of tourney, cost, prizes, etc.). Many operators don't use the Tournament system, but because the sign is factory installed they don't take it off. I believe that is why they used to be on hinges; so you cold put the sign down when there was no tournament. I assume they switched to a permantly "up" bracket as a cost saving measure.

In my case I have a Family Guy.

How is that family guy pin? My son wants to get it as he likes family guy show. Him and I watched a You Tube video of some guy getting a brand new one trucked to his house and the video showed him step by step w/ him pulling it out the box and settin it up. How do you like it? It seems fun from what I have seen on YouTube, I like the adult language control you have way cool feature. Is Stewie's mini pinball fun? It seems like this machine would be hard to clean with all the gadgets to pull off to clean. Let me know.

In my opinion the FG pin is one of the very best of this decade. The theme is carried off really well and the game play is fantastic. The dialog really can be very funny too; assuming you appreciate the humor of the show. The mini pinball is handled really well, but the ball physics take some getting used to because of the small size and lack of weight. Because of this there is a bit more luck required in playing the mini table as opposed to the normal playfield. I do really recommend the game. As far as cleaning goes, it's not worse than most. The only hard part is getting under the Mini Pinball area.

Great game...funny thing is that Shrek is the EXACT same pinball, layout wise. So if you see Shrek give it a go for playability....don't know what that says about Stern though
