That is true, Benne's does take excellent care of their machines, I go there a lot. I also go to Big Johns, but holy cow maintenance is bad, most of them are having lots of issues and some are even off.
As far as buying machines, Central does have about 5 or 6 pins at any given time, but the pricing is above retail, Pinball past has older machines and as mentioned earlier his prices can be pretty high, but I have bought from him a couple machines over the years. I suppose it depends if you are looking for a complete machine, ready and raring to go, or an average machine that you can spend a few hours shopping and save some bucks.
I do a lot of pinball buying and now will be selling some as well (because now I have too much). I also travel alot and know operators so I can get alot of machines at reasonable prices. That said, I have about 28 machines or so, and about 8 of them I am ready to replace with something else. I also have some non working machines.
