Normally, if I'm buying A JAMMA harness or some other arcade parts, I order them from Bob Roberts, as he's got good prices and he's quick and reliable.

Right now I want to order a bunch of JAMMA harnesses (at least 10) and some other stuff. But it's for a project for work, so I don't want to spring $400 out of my pocket and have to wait a couple weeks to be reimbursed. And of course, Bob doesn't take credit cards.

So a question for KLOV'rs -

Who do you know of that sells JAMMA harnesses who's quick and reliable and takes either credit cards or paypaly?

thanks,
John

I buy mine on ebay for the most part. they range from $10-25 and in my opinion are just fine. Here is one that looks nice.

stay away from the real cheap ones as they may not be 100% populated and use very thin gauge wire (20g or so) even on the power.

That might do the trick. The one nice thing about Bob (and also some online places) is you can get a kit that includes the .197 connectors to connect to the cherry switches and the molex connector for the monitor and molex connectors to put in for a disconnect to the control panel and stuff like that. But I guess we could buy those separately if we had to.

Has anyone bought from Twisted Quarter before? They have one on ebay that's all pre-setup with .187 connectors and a ground wire daisy chain and stuff.

check all the auctions before buying. The last ones I bought had all of this and even came with the ground daisy chained set all for around $12. The ground set I remember buying from another vendor for about $10 all by itself before. All had connectors on the end and the connector for most Wg monitors. The connectors alone would cost more than $12 and they were insulated. The base was heat shrinked too.

I have bought some of the harnesses from twisted quarter. I decided to try out the Ebay ones after that due to cost for a few cabs I did not care about and most were better although the twisted quarter ones are not bad at all. $40 from Bobs is just too much for most games.

I don't know why no one else is answering but yes. I have bought a few of those from them. Go with that. Price is right and quality is good. I remember a few of the very uncommonly used jamma pins were not wired as you can see in the picture but you can easily add them. I only had to do that for 1 game I believe.

I have used about 30 or more from twisted quarter, they ship fed ex and the more you buy the cheaper they are. No daisy chains though, I would rather solder on anyhow. Not knocking anyone else's just saying they are worthy. I will know the 10 dollar chinese harness's that are out there even with the convenience of the daisy they are way too thin of a guage.
