Anyone of those chips on an old game PCB can go bad. So where do you go to get replacement ICs? How do you find equivalent ICs?

I'm specifically looking for the ICs that are in Defender and Stargate.

What are you looking for, I have most of them. If your looking for the ram I have plenty of them.

I got 2 bad Stargate Defender CPU boards. Don't know how to fix them myself, will get them fixed by the Ebay Repair guy. But in the future I might buy another main PCB board from ebay and fix it myself. Might get a logic analyzer. But I gotta get a book on circuit repair and a great soldering iron or vacuum.

I was wanting to know of any online websites that would sell the chips in the Defender and Stargate boards.

Riptor sells IC chips as do I.

My website is arcadecomponents.com

Or you could buy new ones from me for about the same price. Places like digikey, jameco, mcm are great for everyday stuff but they dont stock alot of the ics used on the arcades as they are long discontinued.
Bookmark all of our sites and when you need something you should be able to find it in one of our stores. I buy from all these guys myself when I need something and its not something I want to buy in bulk.
