looks like it might be just a 3 connector power plug. You should be able to get that at Radio Shack, although you will probably have to buy both male and female in a pack.

I try to avoid rs like the plague, everytime I go in there, they tell me my phone sux and I need a new one lol

I just go straight to the component drawers. that is the only useful part of the store anymore. Any other electronics supply store should have them as well.

I think the amp and molex plugs are different depths (may also be different spacing as well), but I don't know which one you are mating too.

The only reason I suggested local was to save on shipping, and to be able to test fit.

One more thing, while we're on the topic here...

That connector on your monitor's chassis uses .084 sized connector pins used in the AMP (now TE Connectivity) Mate-N-Lok series of connectors. It appears that you've been plugging pins from a standard 2 prong connector with .093 terminal pins. If you look at the 2 outside pins on your chassis, you can see that they've been forced open a bit wider than the middle ground pin, which has not yet been adulterated. :D

If you DO end up buying a 2 prong to 3 prong adapter, you run the risk of a shaky connection due to the fact that you forced larger pins in there before. The correct .084 pins won't make a tight fit.

I'd suggest getting a 2 prong to 3 prong adapter made custom with the larger .093 pins, or change out the connector on your monitor's board.

Sorry for the winded message - just a public service announcement for ya.

Nice, where do you hook up the ground? To the frame?

Where ever you like. Most of the time, the cab wiring has it's own pigtail that screws directly to a terminal or screw somewhere on the metal frame of the monitor, so there's really no need to use the pigtail on my connector. But I include one so that if you want to mate to whatever you cab has, you can crimp one on.

I can also supply the above mentioned connector (from Ken's post) too. It's exactly the same sans the ground wire.

His chassis connector is AMP (now TE Connectivity). His cab wiring was most likely Molex.

Pitch (pin spacing) is the same, but terminal diameter is different. The AMP stuff uses .084, and most of the molex monitor power connectors used .093.

BTW: Mikesarcade.com is a good place to order from. I've never had any issues in my dealings with them.
