I picked up a beautiful Moon Patrol--hooray! Nice stenciling, plays great. It has a switcher installed that I will eventually reverse (burned pins on the power PCB and no +5 LED). This is the first Williams game I've messed around with, and I can't find the serial number. Where the heck is it?

I don't know if it's the same, but I have a Sinistar machine. The serial Number is near the coin door on the upper-right side.
Also, that's a very nice looking Moon Patrol. Nice pickup!

Thanks! That would explain it, since I was looking on the INSIDE of the cabinet.

That is one damn CRANKY CAB , excellent pick up !!!!
Thanks! (I assume that cranky means good in Australia. I have a friend from New Zealand, and when he's talking about a girl I can't ever tell if he likes her or not.)

I love me some Moon Patrol. I used to play the poop out of it at the local Showbiz Pizza. I also had a port for the C64. I got the serial number, by the way--it's 589186:

I also found this on the wiring harness:

What does anyone make of that? Is it the 3465th/4465th Moon Patrol?
