I m into mointor stuffs since. I couldnt find the simple b+ pot and can anybody shoot me where B+ pot shoudl be at.

K7000

SanyoEz20.

I had gotten some describe saying it s on the back and where?

Shoot me picture here and it would be helpful.

Thanks.

I don't believe a K7000 has a pot to adjust B+. What is your B+ measuring?

Mr. Fr-mm suggests measuring it at R301. He points out that it is a 200 ohm 15W ceramic one, mounted on the left bracket. It'll look like a big white block, mounted on a bracket, hanging in space. You can see R301 on the left edge of this pic: http://www.therealbobroberts.net/mon3a.jpg

Oh, and I think it should be more like 123V or 130V, depending on the CRT size.

Thanks for the manual. It had helped me to see much clearer!.

I was able to find R301 and will test tonight.

I couldnt find anywhere on the service manual. If anyone has idea. On the way out.

I need sanyo ez 20 service manual as well.

Thanks KLOVER!. I wont be who I am today if it werent for you guys! so thanks!

PrarIIied..

Thank s for the manual.

BTW. as for K7000

there s should be 123V on B+ Reading. If it doesnt. If it goes higher than that. TIPS? Lower TIPS? that s all i need to know for now. Thanks tons

Read page 11 of said manual, specifically the upper right quadrant.

You might also try images.google.com with such search terms as the model of the monitor and "flowchart" and see if anything useful appears...

there s should be 123V on B+ Reading.

That is if it is a 19" .... a 25" version will be higher. (130v-ish)

If your B+ voltage isn't right you'll need to know what the "input" voltage is which will be the OTHER side of that same resistor.
One side will read higher than the other. (INPUT side is higher than B+ side)
So for example a 25" will have about 145v on the input side and 130v on the B+ side.

If the input voltage seems to be correct then you will have to check the voltage regulator circuit.

VR601 is the B+ pot on the Sanyo 20EZV and the reading is taken at TP91/BJ
