Where do you order your cabs from?

I was thinking the same thing. Buyer beware.

dkbuilder has a for sale post for a slot machine in Michigan here http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=168411
And Michiganclassicarcade has the same slot machine for sale on his site. So I would say his identity has been confirmed. Do these clowns even need to go through a proxy server to register a new account here?

Like others have said, DPTWiz is the guy for cabs.

3. Davidski have you done any internet searches at all? I mean come on, seriously. What is next, you want one of us to come assemble the damn thing for you? Ask about wiring, go ahead. If anybody points me out on wiring for you and I will point back with my middle finger extended.

wow, you dont have to be a douchebag. Yes I have looked all over the internet, and its 1 thing i have found, everyone says they are the best. Best wood, best construction.

Odds are, they all aren't the best, which is why i started this thread. Just to see if people had previous experience with kits, how the experience went, etc..

Unfortunately, I dont have the luxury of being close to an active Arcade User group where i can go and listen and pickup from overhearing convo, the mundane little things you 8Bit Vet's find annoying.

So far in my Arcade experience I have bought, traded, and played games, never built one.

And I am the kind of guy that just would like to do it as close to correct the 1st time as possible. I'm not quite sure why you fuckers get so bet out of shape when Greenhorns are around.

I haven't read the thread, so I have no idea what you want the cab for, but you can buy nice pre-assembled cabs from Arcadeshop. My company has used both the Bally-style cocktails and the Bally-style uprights and they are very nice. The look almost original from the outside (coin doors are obviously different) and the insides are modified for monitor mounting without the guide bars and newer style power supplies, but I would have no problem putting either in my gameroom.

Haven't used the Ninendo, Dynamo, Centipede, etc styles, but I'm sure they are equally nice. They're just not really cheap...
