I pulled the monitor out with a little help from my wife, and as I suspected the wires would be very short and they came disconnected as I tried lifting the monitor out.
No big deal, no damage done. She was there to disconnect the main ac power cord, but the connector to the chassis that is for color, sync, etc. came undone from it's original position and I do not know where that is.

I shot a few pics of the main set of pcb's and the brick of the unit.

There is a spot on the main set of boards that is "connector free" that this possibly could have come off of.

one more pic of the bottom.

oh and for the record. What an f-d up way of mounting a monitor. They had it right with tron cocktail, where the whole damn thing tips out to the side, giving you great monitor access.

Well, the two connector end plugs into the monitor. The other end plugs into the middle board of the three board stack. I have a picture of exactly where here somewhere. Let me look for it....

Here ya go...

perfect picture thank you.
For the record I knew where the chassis parts went, lol. :O)

I also was fairly certain that the pictures of the top board with no connector was not where it went based on the plugged holes in the connector and it's inability to fit easily.

Anyway, enough of the long-winded response, thank you.

Maybe I should pull off player 1 control panel so I can have some access to that shit once I put the monitor back in.
