Where can I find these protectors?

I'm a Cliffy supporter through and through and LOVE this guy and his products. But I have to say I prefer pinballdecals version. With Cliffy having the split design (no head or tail if you will) the head is usually the part the ball gets dropped on and I'm afraid his version won;t properly protect some fields. :001_ssad:

I agree. Not protecting the top of the slot is a big mistake. And the other ones look better.

I actually just dropped Cliffy an email with my thoughts and concerns about his model. I used Funhouse as one example that his model would NOT work at all.
Funhouse because of the rubber pad at the end of the return rail would send the ball back a tad to drop right below the plastic insert and above the switch. See this pic: http://ipdb.org/showpic.pl?id=966&picno=21289 See the two yellow parts that resemble a horn curling to the left and the other curling to the right RIGHT above the switch? That's the area that gets pounded. His wouldn't work for that model. And several others I'm afraid.

Not trying to hijack the thread but I got to give a shameless plug to my best friend Doug who invented this poduct that cliffy sells: http://www.passionforpinball.com/tourney.htm

I've played that spiderman in the pics many a times and we bitched many times about accidentally hitting that tourney button when it was on top.. Ok, on with the drop protectors.. sorry...

I have to agree with you. I just installed two cliffy's on my Whitewater inlanes and they don't do anything really to protect the drop area from the ramps. There needs to be a new design with some sort of enlarged area above to protect the drop zone from indentation.
