"Impressive..... Most Impressive..."

Actually I think the gig is to buy 20 or 30 tron machines and sell them in the 60 days before the movie comes out...

Yeah, guess I should have kept my Trons but I just don't like the game all that much. I had no idea Star Wars UR machines were going for this kind of price these days. Lots of bids.

dude, tron blows defender out of hte water, not even close.

and I know you are a world class defender player. so you probably disagree

Tron = style over substance IMO. If it wasn't for the fancy cabinet and movie of the same name, few people would remember it. It is a collection of 4 minigames, none of which were particularly great. Two of them are basic single screen shooting games, and then there is an Atari Dominos/RamTek Barricade/RamTek Brickyard/Gremlin Blockade/Gremlin Comotion/etc. knockoff and an Atari Tank/Meadows Lazer Command/Namco Tank Battalion/etc. knockoff thrown in for good measure.

Defender on the other hand was revolutionary; a true classic, and rightly so.

Including buyer premium and sales tax I paid $1450 for my Star Wars UR two years ago at a super auctions. No complaints from me what-so-ever though. It was my favorite game at the arcaade when I was a kid and only the second one I had seen at the auctions and I had been going to them for two years at that point. I bid on the first one I saw, but got outbid by someone with more money than me. I have a five year old nephew that thanks to Unca Bryan has now seen all 6 of the movies and that's all he wants now is Star Wars toys, and of course to come over and blow up the Death Star every chance he gets!

ok maximum recoil, now it's personal. lol

You guys are funny, it is a good thing that SW will bring that, it should of been more. These games are a part of history and a nice game should never be sold cheap just because you have it. They deserve better. Collections need to be worth something and this is what brings it up. Be happy and no price police needed. Last SW I sold went for 1950.00

I dont get it...Why would you need the price police? It was obviously worth exactly that much (or more if they were actually willing to bid even higher) to the buyer...?

Now the wresting game, bring in the paddy wagons!!
