So where are some good arcades here in Phoenix? Castles and Coasters and Game Works are the only I know about. Any diamonds in the rough?

Also, are there any good places here in Phoenix to buy Arcades? Warehouses or what not?

I think Gameworks went belly-up... :(

What's that waterpark off of the I-60 in Mesa? Like, Sunsplash or something?

There ain't much left, for sure...

Craigslist, mostly for parts / cabs... There's some place in Tempe off of Broadway, but the guy, Nolan, is a major flake.

It has been a while, but there used to be a Tron at the budget theater at the mall in Glendale. I used to play that one every time I passed through town.

Castles N Coasters is the big one. Been there a few times. Best one there that I know of.

Went into Golfland-Sunsplash for about 3 minutes.(the one from Bill and Teds Execellent Adv)

Super ghetto and they had the a Major Havoc converted into a kiosk of all thing!

There aren't too many public arcades around the Phoenix area anymore. Dying breed I guess...

I wanted a few games from my childhood, ended up I remember a lot of games from back then!

When I used to visit my sister in AZ, we used to go to this cheap movie theater. The ones with the older movies and only cost you two bucks. Anyway, in the lobby it had a nice collection of about 20-30 games from classics to early 90's stuff. Nothing modern. The game that stood out was and enviornmental discs of tron. I got to play it for a while. Also had a gilligan's island pin. This was before I started to collect and was thrilled to find the place.
This was about five years ago and my sister has since moved. I would have to ask her to find out. I think it was either Tempe or Mesa. Does anybody out that way know where I am talking about??

So uh... hey buddy. :p

Seriously though, I forgot how big Castles and Coasters was. I think I need to go visit them again. I forget if they're tokens or quarters..

Neither. Every game has a Card reader.

What really pisses me off about C&C is that their cards expire. You put $20 on a card, use $5 of it, don't go there for a year. Your $15 is GONE. I've had to deal with a manager a couple times to get my money put back on the card.

Like you ever go there....pfft.
Cheap bastard. Who spends $5 on games? :D

I don't need to when I have the same selection of classics at home that are in better working condition :)

I have my all time favorite pin, so that takes care of that too :)

Anything else I want to play I can go to a friends house.

HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHA!
You ain't whistling Dixie!:D

I go to Castles N Coasters once or twice a month. Most of their classics are a little banged up, but the selection is pretty awesome.

Their pinball selection is flat-out boner-inducing. I regularly compete in their monthly tournament. You guys should check it out.

Wow! There are quite a few other Arizona people here. Now if only some of you guys had some cabs for sale. :p

Yeah, Phoenix is like the 5th largest US city now, I think...

Everything's for sale at the right price! :D

Cabs, or games?
