H2Overdrive is a game I've been wanting to look into for a couple years, but I've never been able to even find one for sale to gauge the price point. I've never seen one for sale, other than on distributor web sites, and those sites are always on the high side.

Anyone know what's the deal on that game? Is it somehow a rare newer game?

Still on routes making money, you will probably start seeing them in a few years..

Funny I had a thread on these a couple months ago as I personally think its one of the greatest driving/racing games ever.
The only on ive ever seen is a pair in a crummy run down mall about an hour from me. I inquired about them with the owner and he did not hesitate to say its his highest earning machine on route. I believe him.

Thanks
Blake

I had a pair briefly a few years ago. They are great games, and seem to hold up really well. The pair I had still looked and played brand new, but one had 150,000 plays on it, and the other had 100,000.

I wish I could have kept them, but they are just too big, and I only played them when I had guests over.

That's a trip... I never hear ANY talk about it. I usually have to go out of my way to find information on it. Where games like FF and FF Drift are in may face all the time.

I own a retro arcade with "newer" games as well. I also know a lot of guys who own arcades, and none of them, as far as I know, has even a single H2Overdrive. I've only seen it, in person, in one arcade, ever. Just strange how such an awesome game seems to be under the radar.

Love this game, which is no surprise since I was also very into Hydro Thunder.

I see it on location a lot, I know it earns well. Looks like you can pick up some used around the $5-6k mark.

Not worth it for me personally, but I'm sure there are some collectors with them.

At this point, I'm sure operators have them paid off, so it's pulling in higher end profits.

I'll get a couple eventually, but it doesn't look like it'll be anytime soon.

Wasn't the game new at $5-6k?

I remember back near release getting a quote for like 4500... wish I pulled the trigger then

Its on my wish list along with raw thrill's Jurassic Park shooter. Nice to know there are still a few video arcade being produced and not all redemption.

The JP shooter is awesome! I played it a couple months ago, feels like there is a lot more game/story than most.

I need to get another quote on a h2o and see if it was still in a decent price range, otherwise I'll Have to keep an eye out for HT upright(s).

Love H2Overdrive. Would definitely own if had the space.

How many of these can you link up? Most I've seen is two.
