When was the last time anyone heard back from Alex Yeckley of Elektron Forge

Hey All,
I don't mean to call anyone out, but when was the last time anyone got a response from Alex at Elektron Forge to get a board fixed. I have a Star Wars with a couple problems(at least). I've emailed Alex about it twice. Once a couple weeks ago and once about 3-6 months ago. I've never heard back either time. I know he's got to be busy, but what's the deal. I figure he could have at least said no, or I'm too busy, try me in X months. Any advice.

I'd try emailing him again. I think it took me a few times to get a response.. Unfortunately, the response was they didn't fix the boards I needed repaired, heh.

What was the board you were trying to get repaired. He actually has Star Wars in his list of boards he will fix if time allows. Mostly just curious. I could email every week but I am afraid to annoy him and it says it may take a week to get a response. And it wouldn't matter if his email is perpetually full and he never gets them.

I was looking to get my zookeeper and superpunchout pcbs repaired...I tried Alex and Dick Millikan and a couple others, but no dice. I recently bought a second SPO pcb from djdns only to discover Gene at Vintagearcade had found someone to repair both boardsets and had sent them off, lol.

I just received a Space Invaders boardset back from him last week that he repaired. He had the board for about a month, then emailed me that it was ready. I replied and asked if he worked on Atari Assault boards (I have a spare that is non-working) and he replied back that he doesn't work on those. That was a couple of weeks ago though.

Yeah...Alex is notorious for his slooooow communications. He does great work but on his own time schedual, not his customers'.

I would think that 3-6 months has been significantly patient. I know the guys is busy and that he does great work. That's why I want him on the job. I don't really think I was impatient when he fixed my other 2 boards either. I'll definitely start trying him once a week to see if I get a response. Its just the lack of any response that both worries and annoys me. I have seen others on here under the impression that he's quit repairing boards which is what prompted this post. I'll keep trying him. Thanks guys.
