When not in use, do you keep it covered?

I keep my playfield covered when game is not in use with a black throw type blanket to keep indirect sunlight from fading playfield, etc. Is this overkill to have it covered? Thanks

I don't think so. Mine are in the garage with all the other games and i fold up packing blankets and cover each topglass when not in use. It also helps me from hastily setting stuff on the top glass and possibly scratch or break it. And yeah it will help reduce playfield fading if you are near natural light.

All my machines are either in my basement arcade room or out in the garage with no windows, so I don't cover them. I would cover them if sunlight was present or I went long periods between playing the games, however.

They do get dusty, though, especially on the PF glass. Covering them might help.
