Well I was driving down the road and hit a big bump and keep in mind i still have my space invaders with me until I get home and my control panel just falls out and slams my glass bezel and it wanst pretty, also how do you wire these old ass buttons up to modern ones. So I am on the hunt to buy a nice space invaders deluxe glass bezel, yeah got a hell of a deal and I knew it was to good to be true and this crap happens

If that's the worst your life gets, you have nothing to worry about.

All buttons have two wires going to two connectors, all you have to do is just put your new button in, then make the wire go to one connection and make the other wire go to another connection.

Why do you want to replace the buttons? If they're just dirty, you can buy leaf switch buttons that will screw right in so you don't have to replace the switches.

ouch! that's why you make sure everything is locked tight in place before moving. Either that or removed so as not to cause any damage. As for the buttons, why would you want to replace them? If you do replace them though they are like any other button with a ground and the wire that is specific to that button. Basically cut or desolder the old wires and use the correct crimp on connector so they will easily fit on a new cherry switch. And don't throw away the old switches. Either offer them for sale, give them away or keep them for the future.

each one has like 3 wires though, ill clean them and see how they look before do and see what they look like

probably got 3 wires so the same button can be used for player two. One ground wire daisy chained to all buttons then one wire to each button for player one and a second wire to each button for player two.

Ouch, that sucks, but the good news is at least it isn't that rare of a game, a replacement bezel should be relatively easy to find.
and yeah, I wouldn't put new buttons in, if they are in bad shape just replace the visible part, you can get the replacements from Arcade shop, I believe, and I think someone was selling them in the for sale section here too (though I'm not sure if they have any more)
Should look something like this:

It looks like the OP was anal and ran extra ground wires from the button switch plates... those aren't necessary... they're just part of the while cab ground to the ground pin on your 3-prong plug. The green wares soldered to the plates aren't part of the button circuit.

Maybe my bad luvk will turn good, maybe I might get lucky and when I get home and plug it in its only a bad interlock or blown fuse and it fires right up

I don't think the green wire is connected to the plate I believe it is soldered to the leaf switch.

A while back, someone in the For Sale or WTB section had some extra bezels for the original and i think the Deluxe. not sure if they sold or not...

Its soldered to the plate

Ok just pulled the panel on my space invaders deluxe to look at the switches. My leaf switches have 3 metal contact points. Basically it is wired just like yours though because the 3rd metal contact is on the bottom of the switch and is mounted in contact with that metal plate. So weather the green wire is soldered to the metal plate or the 3rd metal contact it should be serving the same purpose. As I mentioned before I'm pretty sure the green wire is your ground and the other two are doubled so both players 1 and 2 can use the same buttons to play.

Been looking at some reproductions , are they all the same meaning all the repros need to be sandwiches in between plexi? just looking at mamemarquees.com and thinking on buying that one and sandwiching between 2 tinted 1/8th plexi sheets, would this look ok?

Eh....it would be better if you found an original. Or a reproduction screened directly on glass/plexi...
Depends on how good you want it to look, or how original you want it to be.
It probably wouldn't look bad, but I think you'll notice the difference between the two
